My passion for floral photography began a year before the Covid-19 pandemic, but it really flourished during the months of lockdown and social isolation. I am blessed to live in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, a region with dozens of local flower farms. From beautiful ranunculus and tulips and in springtime, to dahlias that grace us from summer all the way into fall, I have access to stunningly beautiful blossoms. I have the pleasure to work with several local growers and hand pick the blossoms that I photograph in my home studio. Each one is carefully retouched to enhance it's beauty.
